This is follow up update on original post here
I was doing maintenance today and WOW! I now see that PHP 7.0 and 7.1 are now supported by goDaddy
THANK YOU
Off course we have to check site to run under latest PHP version and off course there could be some work required to fix issues if detected, but one need to move with the progress and be modern.
It is unfortunate that it takes goDaddy months of complains to catch up with rest of the industry, but better later than never.
I use Heart Internet… have been for about 10 yrs now… never had a problem with them and they update straight away or will tell you how you can do it on your own… ie to change to PHP 7 before they put it on the control panel.
They have a great customer service and great packages.
As you can see I really like them had friends who use GoDaddy and heard all about their complaints and never had anything on Heart…once we had downtime due to DDOS on their main servers and were back up and running really quickly.
