I think I’ve figure out what does bother me last few years about Borland and Delphi in particular NO INFORMATION Today all sales are about information, about Branding, about acknowledgment. There is no information – almost the only place you would see Borland name is Borland web-site and MS partner CD (last one nobody look at, but almost everybody had it at some point). CrystalReports and Delphi – part 2

Ok, I think I’ve got a good progress. CR support is finally added, it took some time because of many things I have to do, but it is here. I can create, view, edit and it is all behind central interface… now it is time to test… Code clean up, packaging and it will available for download. I’ve found CR XI implementation much better then in prior versions. But ActiveX wasn’t my field, to be fair… One good think – CR is now part of Borland Delphi and this is great – for onve, it is not so centristic about internal – “native” – reporting tools and this give a choice…

Borland Consulting Services – part 2 – week 2

Ok, huray!!!! Someone called me back this Friday!!! First I’ve got email from one of the managers of CS team! Great. What confuses me that he/she (I do not want to be specific) didn’t receive any of my contact information (I left about 3 voice mails, talked with about 4 people) so he/she did great job and find me over the web!!! It is useful sometimes to leave tracks for your name on internet (until off course you start to receive a lot of spam (oh, check this http://www.spampal.org/ – great spam tag filter and it is free).
